Northwest Arm Drive

 

Northwest Arm Drive, (sometimes given the acronym NWAD) is the provincial highway that runs south from the intersection of Main Avenue and Dunbrack Street (in Fairview) to the intersection with the Old Sambro Road (in Spryfield).

Except for the last few hundred yards before the Old Sambro Road intersection, Northwest Arm Drive is entirely within my constituency of Halifax Fairview.

A received a brief acknowledgement from the Minister to my letter on March 3rd (the pdf copy of the letter is currently missing from the site).

Dear Mr. Steele:

Thank you for your letter of March 3, 2005, concerning alterations to Northwest Arm Drive. The improvements recommended by the traffic study have indeed been submitted as a budget priority for the 2005/2006 fiscal year.

At this time the project is still being evaluated along with others in the process so your comments will be taken into consideration.
